The thesis statement is usually presented a t the beginning of the essay, to set the tone of the work and also to enable the author to explain the reason for writing the essay.Part four is the dialogue that is followed by the summary of the thesis. It is a summary of the different argumentative points of the essay that expresses the author's knowledge and experience.Part five is an appendix that consists of a list of sources. It gives the reader an idea of the background of the paper and the author's references that prove his point.It is important to use the MLA format for evaluating college essays because it is a widely accepted standard that is usually used in most educational programs for teaching the principles of writing and research. The format helps evaluate the different writing styles used by the student. The most important aspect of the MLA format is to write in a clear, concise manner that shows how you are familiar with the principles of writing. This will be evaluated by the literary editor or the MLA committee i n assessing the essay. Having clear prose will help you succeed in your college application.
